I decided to do an updated
Laminated List for 2008. I realized while filling this out that two of my long standing members dropped (Meg Ryan after her horrid face lift, Sarah Mclachlan because she is outside of my age rage of "less than 40" )
#10: Mandy Moore: Very girl next store, and she seems like a really sweet girl.
#09: Katie Holmes: Okay, I totally had a crush on her during Dawson's Creek. Tom Cruise went and brain washed her, but she seems like she has an awesome personality mixed in with a bit of flakiness, which I find endearing.
#08: Kristin Kreuk: Yeah, she's from Smallville. I know people who have met her, and they say she is one of the most down to earth people, and just a good person. I sometimes read
Allison Mack's blog, and her and Kristin do a lot of work together. That sounds completely dorky that I read Allison's blog, but I stumbled across it after reading her comment on someone's blog, and I wanted to see if it was her.
#07: Reese Witherspoon: I'm a sucker for petite blonds. According to IMDB she is from New Orleans, which gives her bonus points as that is
one of my favorite cities in the world. Oh, and she is sort of the new Meg Ryan.
#06: Sarah Silverman: She is talented and gorgeous. A sense of humor goes a long way, and though she can be gross at times, she is in solid here. She is 37 now, but I think she'll last into her 40's on my list.
#05: Jennifer Love Hewitt: I had to have one ditsy girl on my list, and JLH definitely fits the bill. She is attractive and completely high maintenance, which for some reason I actually like sometimes. Oh, and those late 90's movies were great.
#04: Keira Knightley: I am risking my man card saying this...but if I could marry her from Love Actually...I completely would. I'm not kidding. She is beautiful.
#03: Hayden Panettiere: She's hot, but admittedly too young for me. Maybe in a few years, but she gets the #03 stop on pure speculation that in her mid-20's she'll be a beautiful woman and not just a sorority-type.
#02: Amanda Bynes: Flurking hot. That's all I can say. She has potential to be even more attractive as she hits her mid-2o's, but no sense putting her #1 when I have a clear cut, can't miss #1 for me.
#01: Kate Hudson: Pretty much my perfect woman. She is quirky, funny, an individual, and can still pull off sophisticated. She is the kind of woman I wish I could bring home to meet my mom, and then marry.

#4 Yes she still looked good in Love Actually but she's a total coat hanger in Atonement (which made me want to slit my wrists).
Good taste, sir. I like the fact that they are all pretty, but real looking-- not Barbies!

Zen: I love the term "coat hanger"...it is incredibly descriptive and sad...at the same time. I haven't seen the movie, is it worth seeing?
pp: I think most of the models today are too skinny. The current research found that they weigh on average 23% less than an average women of similar height and build....scary, huh? This is a huge increase from what it was 20-30 years ago.

Hi, I'm new to your blog. I clicked onto it out of curiousity from Valley Girl's. So far, interesting posts.
Anyway, I can see where you're coming from for most of your list, except for Amanda Bynes. I just don't see the appeal there :P.

BTW, I vote for Natalie Portman on your list. She's gorgeous, in my opinion, and brilliant (speaks like five languages or something; Harvard psych degree).

I love Keira Knightley. She has a gorgeous face, and actual acting talent.
Amanda Bynes is lots of fun too (I even watched Lovewrecked).
And with the other girls - put Natalie Portman & Kate Beckinsale on!
I have to say, based on looks and sex appeal only, I would chuck Angelina Jolie and Megan Fox on.
campus girl: Nat definitely should be there somewhere...as she has looks and brains....very sexy.
amy: You have excellent taste in women. Angelina is my only hesitation, she is beautiful, but her features aren't as attractive to me, though I can recognize why others like her. Oh, but I wouldn't kick her out of bed....LOL!
